Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas is more than a store or a place to donate your unwanted items – we are an entrepreneurial enterprise that connects opportunity, people and work together. Goodwill is a leader, environmental pioneer and social innovator of the practice of reducing, reusing and recycling people’s unwanted materials. Every year, Goodwill diverts thousands of tons of computers, paper, clothing and textiles from area landfills by recovering the value through resale and recycling. In the process, Goodwill creates job training opportunities as well as green-collar jobs for individuals who are disabled or disadvantaged. Learn more about our recycling efforts and the impact on our community.

CARF Accreditation

Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF is an independent, not-for-profit agency promoting quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative process that centers on enhancing the lives of the people receiving services.
