Goodwill accepts all types and brands of electronic equipment (see list below), in any condition, at all our locations. Goodwill’s Dell Reconnect Program is a partnership between Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas and Dell. Donated items are shipped to our main offices where they are disassembled by employees from the Extended Employment Services program.

It’s EASY – Bring your unwanted computer equipment to any Goodwill location.
It’s CONVENIENT – Goodwill staff will help you unload your items.
It’s TAX-DEDUCTIBLE –  Donations can potentially be claimed on your taxes.
It’s FREE – We never charge to donate any equipment!

Monitors

Working or broken. If glass is broken, place in a cardboard box lined with a plastic trash bag. Seal and clearly label “broken monitor” with the date.

Hard Drives (External or Internal)

Dell and Goodwill accept no liability for lost or confidential data or software. You are responsible for backing up any information and erasing sensitive data from the hard drive before dropping it off (to completely erase the hard drive, a number of free services are available online).

Printers

Including laser and inkjet.

Speakers, Cords, Cables

Including power cords and USB cables.

Ink & Toner Cartridges

Full or empty.

Software

Please include the license key.

Scanners

Mice and Keyboards

Wired or wireless.
