Goodwill helps bring out the ability in the disabled and disadvantaged clients we serve. Through our education, training and employment services, they receive the assistance necessary to get and keep a job.
Vocational Rehabilitation provides career evaluations, skills training, a center for Career Development, job seeking training, employment specialists, job coaches and supported employment.
Extended Employment Services are provided for clients with disabilities. A case manager ensures each employee is progressing at work and within their personal growth plan.
AbilityOne provides good and services to the federal government, with AbilityOne coordinating with more than 550 nonprofit agencies from across the nation to employ individuals with disabilities.
Job Hunters helps individuals with disadvantages explore job leads. Participants receive assistance with drafting resumes and filling out applications.
Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas offers many programs and services. The statistics behind those who have been helped show the accomplishments in each area. For example, in 2007, over 700 individuals obtained jobs through the Job Hunters program.
