Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas assumes a public trust and recognizes the importance of high ethical standards. In accordance with laws governing nonprofit corporations, we adopt a whistle blower policy and procedure that encourages customers, donors, volunteers, and employees to confidentially/anonymously report any of the following financial improprieties, failure to adhere to internal controls, and/or potential violations of law or policy. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Accounting and Auditing Matters
- Conflict of Interest
- Disclosure of Confidential Information
- Discrimination or Harassment
- Donor Stewardship
- Embezzlement
- Falsification of Contracts, Reports or Records
- Misconduct or Inappropriate Behavior
- Store Inventory Shortage
- Theft
- Unsafe Working Conditions or Safety Issues
- Substance Abuse
- Violation of Policy
- Warehouse Inventory Shortage
Each incident reported is investigated promptly and follow-up provided to the reporter if appropriate. Individuals filing such reports will not be subject to retaliation or adverse action based on the disclosure of the complaint. All calls and contacts are kept confidential.

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place.
