MOKAN GOODWILL TO HOST FREE GOOD HEALTH FAIR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH

FREE COVID-19 testing, safety masks, and job search assistance available 

 

Kansas City, Missouri (October 14, 2020):

WHO: Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas, Heart to Heart International, Urban League of Greater Kansas City

WHAT: A FREE Health Fair offering COVID-19 testing, cloth safety masks, online digital skills training, job search and employment assistance, census registration

WHERE: Manual Career Tech Center parking lot located at 1310 E. Truman Road, Kansas City, MO

WHEN: Saturday, October 14, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

WHY: “COVID-19 continues to impact the Kansas City community, specifically in our urban core. This event is one way we can support the ongoing need for testing, provide cloth masks to those in our community, and support job seekers who have been displaced during this pandemic. Engaging citizens to register for the census will ensure Kansas City receives appropriate funding in the future.” ~ Laura Ritterbush, MoKan Goodwill Chief Mission Officer
